Lotus Mirror, 2025
A five-foot cast metal mandala made inside the WAF foundry. Drawing on Han Dynasty bronze mirrors and Buddhist sand mandalas, its 26 hand-sculpted petals close into a single circle around a polished mirror that returns the viewer's own reflection. Redmond calls the work both a self-portrait and a quiet act of resistance: a ritual of looking inward, made against a culture of constant distraction.
